The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is the largest transit provider in Canada. The TTC is the main provider of transportation to the residents of Toronto, Ontario.
History
The TTC was created in 1921 under the name of Toronto Transportation Commission by merging various small municipal and private railways. The name was changed to Toronto Transit Commission in 1954.
